Details

After several minutes of use, it becomes necessary to click on links or buttons multiple times, in quick sucession, in order for them to load in the browser window. This is a reasonably new bug- I download nightlies every day, and have only been noticing it since Thursday or Friday. This persists across several window managers, and occurs on both UP and SMP machines, so I have to believe that it is a Linux problem and not WM or kernel related. There are some related symptoms: *Occasionally, single-clicking a link will cause activity (as indicated by the graph in the lower left-hand corner) and the "Document: Done (x secs)" will change as if something has happened. Problem is that the browser will stay on the same page. I'm not sure if this is related or not, but I'm pretty sure it first started occuring on the same daily build. *Usually (though I haven't checked to see if it is always) when this problem occurs, if I choose to use the address bar at the top of the window, I have to hit enter multiple times in order to cause the new address to load. I haven't detected a pattern to the pages that do or do not cause this problem, but they have occured on very simple pages using only very strict HTMl, without javascript or other complications. Sorry this is so vague, but I can't force it to be repeatable. Sorry about that... Oh, one other thing- I'm getting this on today's build, 2000040209, and have been since 20000330 or thereabouts.
