Upon removal of .jpg extension (from a downloaded file) ('cos i hate extensions), the mac can no longer identify the file. Problem akin to bugs 218603 and 129979.
Manually replacing the .jpg extension fixes the problem but is not a solution I wish to use.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Save any jpg image off a page.
2.remove .jpg from filename
3.Mac will now be unable to identify the file.
