User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1a3) Gecko/20060702 BonEcho/2.0a3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1a3) Gecko/20060702 BonEcho/2.0a3
The "go" button, located to the immediate right of the location bar, processes whatever input is currently in the location bar. Likewise, the magnifying glass button for the search bar, processes whatever input is currently in the search bar. The go button is outside the location bar, while the magnifying glass is inside the search bar. Perhaps, for consistency, the go button should be moved inside the location bar. Consider that the "down arrow" seen inside the location bar shows recent web sites, while the same arrow inside the search bar shows recent searches. It would be natural, then, for the go button to be to the immediate left of the down arrow, so that the go-button/down-arrow inside the location bar has similar function to the magnifying-glass/down-arrow inside the search bar.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox (running 2.0a3 here)
2. Observe.
3. Wonder.
Actual Results:
Go icon is outside the location bar.
Expected Results:
Go icon is inside the location bar?
This is obviously minor, but consistency is always pleasing.
