345562 - 21 Jul branch nightly hangs frequently (js-related?)

I've had to force-quit today's branch nightly 6 or 7 times now because it would "randomly" start beachballing and never recover.  After a while, I realized it might be js-related.  A few times I was launching or using MODi, and a couple times I had just tried to do something in bugzilla (the query page repopulates the components using js when you select a product, i think).  A couple of times I really can't remember anything that might have triggered this.

Sam had his branch build from today hang "randomly" shortly after he started using it, too.

I'll attach the sample I took of my last hang (I'd just changed a version select in bugzilla).  I'll try trunk/Fx tomorrow and see if I can repro there.  I do feel that I used bugzilla and MODi enough yesterday that I would have seen it, so I think this regressed just today.

I wonder if this could be fallout from that massive patch (which mrbkap backed out today to "fix smoketest blockers"). I'll check tomorrow's build, too.

FWIW, yeah, I see this too.  Haven't done any research about where it's happening, but I know I'm hanging a lot.

It's hanging in nsRange::PopRanges, which looks like it was caused by bug 344895.

I can't speak for Ian, but I've had absolutely 0 hangs with the 22nd's nightly.

Simon, I don't think bug 344895 landed on the branch until later in the day on the 21st, well after the nightly for the 21st was built (1 AM Pacific).

I'm not seeing a hang either with the July 22nd branch nightly. This must have been fixed by another bug. Unless Ian is still seeing this, I'd like to resolve it as WFM.
