I can't get Quicktime images or audio files to load,if it appears on any website.

This bug does not enough information. please provide example URLs where you see this issue.
How about something that is not in an area that requires a username and password.
type about:plugins into the location bar, is quicktime seen there?

if you want to see full paths, use about:config to toggle plugin.expose_full_path to true. There are some more plug-in related settings, i.e. "plugin.scan.Quicktime Standard string 5.0" means on scanning for plugins, only version 5.0 and higher will be recognized.
Are you seeing this problem in Firefox 1.5.0.6. There was an issue involving plug-ins now showing up that was fixed in 1.5.0.6.
