command + should increase font size
Opera demonstrates this reasonably well
Camino has a passable but not good version. note text disappears above the screen
Mozilla/Minefield seems not to work at least in OS X

open the attachment:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=233459&action=view
then use keys: command +
or with mouse: view textsize increase
This behavior is intentional - see bug 291785.

tor,
can you please not close bugs, unless you are sure they are resolved.
in os x at least, the behaviour is not as described in bug 291785.
it maybe that the scope needs changing
cheers

Jonathan, what do you mean by "the behavior is not as described in bug 291785? The patch in that bug intentially *disables* text zooming (hopefully on all platforms). We had lots of discussions about this, and everyone agrees that the right solution is page zooming, but until we get that, SVG authors correctly complained that zooming text in a graphics page, where text location and size are assumed to be relative to the translated coordinates of the graph was the wrong approach. We're very sensitive to the accessibility issues, and hopefully we'll be able to provide page zooming in 1.9 or some future release, which is a better approach all the way around.
I think WONTFIX is the proper resolution for this, although I think that a bug for page zooming would be appropriate.

It would be helpful to have a link to the page zoom bug, if there isn't one, then the scope of this bug could be widened.
currently camino has exactly the behaviour described as "the wrong approach"
however it isn't true to say that "everyone agrees", I dont. Those who do assume that there is a spatial relation between text and graphic, and this isn't necessarily true. see http://www.peepo.co.uk the text has specifically been removed from the graphical area to allow it to have a large size.
I recognise that in many cases this may be true, for instance see:
http://www.peepo.co.uk/mybbc/index.html
where images and text zoom together, note this is css and html :-)
However the crux of this bug is that in camino text size does change independently of 'page zooming', which is not in accord with bug 291785.
thanks for your comments, and I hope this clarifies the situation somewhat.
cheers

I hope this is not too obvious a question but what versions of Camino, Minefield etc are you using for testing Jonathan?

nightly build
wouldn't it be great if this much effort went into resolving bugs, rather than trying to deny they exist?

Has the check in for bug 358032 made any difference?

closing as the differences between minefield and camino appear to have been resolved and the main discussion on how and why to zoom text and graphics is
