From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; N; Win98; en-US; m14) Netscape6/6.0b1 BuildID: 2000033112 The MS-Intellimouse Explorer with the two main buttons, two supplemental buttons, and a scroll wheel is virtually useless in this version. When the special buttons are set to take over the "Back" and "Next" commands, they do nothing. The mouse wheel also does little when clicked and used as a button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Get an MS-Intellimouse Explorer (the kind with the little red light on the bottom) 2.Set the special buttons for browsing purposes to "back" and "next". 3.Watch as this browser does nothing about it. Actual Results: Nothing, and that's the problem. Expected Results: The browser should take me (much as Netscape 4.72) to the previous or next page. none...
From your report it looks like you are using NS 6 beta. This is not the place for Netscape bugs. While Netscape may be a fine place to report Mozilla bugs, the inverse does not hold true. Please report your issues with the Netscape product by selecting the Feedback item in the Help menu. Thanks for your help in testing. I did check and this bug is however a dupe of another bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 30431 ***
