349134 - Need content for new "About [Mozilla]" page

The new list of default bookmarks (bug 348165) includes an "About Us" link that points to http://%LOCALE%.www.mozilla.com/%LOCALE%/firefox/about/.

We'll hook up a temporary redirect to avoid a 404, but this is a new page that needs content before Firefox 2 ships.

The URI structure seems odd here -- I'm reading this as "About Firefox" but it sounds like we want this to be "About Us" (i.e., About Mozilla). Is the notion that we will redirect to www.mozilla.com/about or that we will redirect www.mozilla.com/about to http://en-US.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/about?

For Japan, we have two pages:

One is our Japanese "about" page for Moz Foundation & Moz Co.
http://www.mozilla-japan.org/about/mozilla.html

The other is for MozJP
http://www.mozilla-japan.org/about/

Is either one of these appropriate?

I'm not sure; to be honest, I expect that when they were assembling the list of bookmarks, they just got in the habit of doing %LOCALE%/%APP%/foo/.  It is probably not too late to change it, if this is (as I expect) going to be a page principally about Mozilla, that could be shared with other projects like Thunderbird.

I was able to get a braindump from cbeard today -- he's clarified what's expected of this page and why the URI structure is as it is.
