Details

Seen using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060821 Firefox/2.0b2.

STR

1. Add a search plugin and check the box that says "Start using it right away"
2. Navigate to a page such as http://www.technorati.com/ that has autodiscovery.
3. Add the plugin

The plugin becomes your default plugin.

Expected:

I would expect that I would be asked if I wanted to make that my default.
This is an intentional change from bug 348141. The goal was to make it easier to see that the engine was added, iirc.
OS: Mac OS X 10.4 → All
Hardware: Macintosh → All
Yes. Actually, an autodiscovered engine is selected right away all the time, not dependent on any previous "Start using it right away" choices for other engines.
Ok, marking as WFM based on the two comments. I will add this to our Litmus test case so it is clear.
