Please, please, please change your PIN immediately! Bugs flagged as security problems may be hidden from public view temporarily but never permanently, and are visible to a large number of developers both volunteer and working for over a dozen different companies. This appears to be a coding flaw on the website's part, where they use some IE-specific coding. If you reload the original page you do appear to be logged in, so the server is correctly setting a cookie, just not transitioning to the next page. Complain to their customer service.
