Firefox 1.5 used http://firefox-rss.ceskenoviny.cz/ as a rss feed which is provided specially for Firefox users by Czech press agency. Of course, we had an email approval for that. 

Due to the quality and neutrality of their news we would like to continue to use their feed.

Please redirect http://cs.fxfeeds.mozilla.com/cs/firefox/headlines.xml -> http://firefox-rss.ceskenoviny.cz/
Pavel, do you still have that mail around and could forward it to Mic?

I just checked and the RSS feed is almost always unavailable, can their webmaster assure that it will support the server load ?
I don't get any content there, too. I'll remove that from our list of redirects to set up in the first round.

Pavel, Mic, could you use your contacts to get this either up or down?

The feed looks very lively to me. Adam (aha@czilla.cz) communicated the situation with the system administrator of the server, and there is no evident traffic problem according to him. He also agreed to watch the server more closely for few days. 

Please check the feed again. If you see any problems, try to run ping or traceroute.
Close watching of the server brought some fruits - the problem was probably the limit of the maximum of open connection/files, that was set to 1000. Since we started redirecting our FF 1.0 feed to this one few days ago, the number of clients increased (mainly in the evening hours). The limit was increased and the server should be ready to additional portion of Firefox users.
A technical reason is good to have, I added this to the wiki.

Leaving this bug open until the redirect is up and tested.

Please monitor the load situation of the server continuously to avoid such problems in the future.
