User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060821 Firefox/2.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060821 Firefox/2.0b2 In Preferences->Privacy->(Cookie) Exceptions, there is a form field to define a new site and block/allow cookies for the site, but no facility to search or filter the existing list cookie exceptions. This is a frustrating UI decision for those who block cookies by default (such as myself), as I must periodically unblock a site and it is sometimes hard to find the exact address I previously blocked (e.g. ebay.com vs. search.ebay.com vs. cgi3.ebay.com). There should be a way to to a substring search on the exception list, as is already the case for set cookies. Furthermore, as a matter of consistency, it might be good to eliminate (or move over to an "advanced" section) the manual exception-setting field, as it could at first glance be perceived as a search field (yes, I know we should be reading the help text, but just looking at the dialog layout vis-a-vis the existing cookie dialog layout, the functionality could be easily confused). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open preferences dialog. 2. Navigate to "privacy" tab. 3. Under cookies, click "exceptions" to raise the relevant dialog. Actual Results: Observe lack of search facility, and constrast with "Show cookies" dialog. Expected Results: A search/filter field should be present.
