Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6 With Caret Browsing on (F7), the Page Up and Page Down keys do not function, either to scroll a windowful at a time, or to move the caret. Spacebar also no longer functions as a "Page Down" shortcut. The Home and End keys, however, *do* work as expected (immediate scroll to top and bottom of web page being viewed). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Turn on Caret Browsing 2. Load a web page or have a previously-loaded web page open 3. Depress Page Up, Page Down, or Spacebar (once or repeatedly) Actual Results: No movement of window contents. Expected Results: Either a one-window-ful scroll per key depress, or at least movement of the caret by one screenful. It was suggested on the Mozillazine platforms that the Smooth Scrolling toggle might have an affect on this issue. On my box, in any event, the behavior is the same with or without Smooth Scrolling. (In reply to comment #0) Forgot to add: according to one user (see thread posted above) the problem also appears on the Windows platform.
