If you go to "Customize toolbar...", the snapshot image of the combined location and search bar looks weird. The search bar is too trimmed. Screenshot coming up.

That size reflects your actual search bar size, so I think this is invalid.

Oh, nevermind.  I see this now; at the default size (and some bigger sizes), it does look funky.  It's fine collapsed and at unreasonably large widths ;)

Putting this on the 1.1 list for the moment since it's a regression from the split bar, but it'll likely be kicked if there's no patch.

With the new search field, the close box doesn't show, making it look much more normal. Given that this really isn't a big deal for 1.6.

I just noticed today that since the size reflects the actual search bar size, if your search bar is too big to fit in the Customize sheet, it will be resized in your Toolbar. I'm not sure if this could be related to bug 554818.

Also, a bigger search bar can make the location bar look strange if there is a lock/rss icon/etc in there. See the attached screenshot.

Lastly, is the alignment of the location/search bar in the Customize sheet intentional? It looks kind of strange.

In my Customize sheet, the location/search bar starts near the middle of the first icon and ends near the middle of the third icon. It looks properly aligned in your Customize sheet, although I'm not sure why yours is 3 icons across while mine is 5.

Ah, OK.  Cocoa lays that all out itself based on the toolbar options available to it.

(I have a couple of scripts with really long names, and a large number of scripts in general, which forces me into three columns.)
