Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060821 Firefox/2.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060821 Firefox/2.0b2 I want to goto a website, but I make a typo as I enter the address in the location bar. Instead of typing "www.example.com", I accidently type "www.example.ocm" [sic], or "ww.example.com" [sic] or something similiar. The result is the domain name is unabled to be resolved to an IP address and Firefox informs me that it cannot find the server. The invalid domain name which doesn't resolve to anything gets added to the list of websites visited. Now, if I try type "www.ex" then it will suggest me to visit "www.example.ocm", even though it is an invalid domain name that doesn't point to any real IP address. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Goto www.example.ocm 2. Type www.ex and look at the suggested website. Actual Results: It suggests me an website that does not exist, in fact the domain name doesn't even resolve to an IP address. Expected Results: It should not add domains which cannot be resolved to the search history thing where it suggests addresses when you start type a domain name in the address/location bar.
