User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 When you are about to edit an element of a page after entering the page-module, Firefox crashes after clicking on the link "Toggle HTML Source". This also happens with Firefox 1.5.0.7 without any extension (clean profile, even without DOM Inspector, not just safe mode), but it doesn't happen with 1.5.0.5 and 1.5.0.6. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Toggle to HTML view, or maybe, if there is an error, Firefox should crash.
> Expected Results: > Toggle to HTML view, or maybe, if there is an error, Firefox should crash. Of course it SHOULDN'T crash, not "should"... Additional information: In TYPO3 4.0 we are using "htmlArea RTE v. 1.3.7" as HTML editor.
Can you get a talkback ID for the crash? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback

On my System, Linux Debian etch, is the same crash.
I'm a little confused: The error still resists, this Bug is marked as duplicate of Bug 313400 and this Bug ist fixed and also verified?!
It's fixed on Firefox trunk, and there is an effort to get the fix to Gecko 1.8.1.1 - alas, it won't make it into Firefox 2.
This is also in the Typo3 bugtracker as http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=4238
