improve keyboard access to all tabs
in bug #350019, aaronl writes:
"I want to suggest that it's very useful for keyboard users to be able to get a list of the tabs, because you can type the first letter of a tab and go directly to the tab you wanted. Whenever you have a list that can get pretty large, that kind of keyboard navigation becomes important for usable accessibility."
A possible place for this functionality would be a "All tabs" item in the
context menu for tabs (which already has other useful tab-related functions).
aaronl also wrote over email:
has anyone checked the keyboard nav for similar UI's? This is a pretty common thing to be doing. Visual Studio has it, although I notice they have a Windows drop down. If you hit Alt+W W you end up with a list, where you can type for incremental search in the list. That's ideal when you have so many items.
