Jose checked in a, likely, fix to the Taiwanese eBay plugin to use the pages encoding as input encoding. Jose, you must not check in into the closed tree without a bug and a patch with approval1.8.1, and the tree is closed, as noted on the tinderbox and in my announcements in the newsgroup. Filing a bug now to get that fix on the radar, otherwise it may just not make it into FX2. To take this fix, we have to respin zh-TW later than 2006/09/20 23:57:44 PDT.
Requesting blocking, I really think we should take this fix, it's highly user-visible and annoying, and silly low risk.

Oh... Shound I create a new bug or use this bug? I think it's important.
This is the bug we use. Nothing for you to do for the moment.
Looks like a good fix - but why was this checked in prior to approval?

Jose, we will have an RC2. Can you test an upcoming nightly to verify that the plugin now works with Chinese script? If so, please VERIFY the bug, and change the fixed1.8.1 keyword to verified1.8.1.
