Mail download attempted, Windows reported "an Illegal Operation attempted", clearing this message caused the Seamonkey browser to exit.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Using Seamonkey Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7)
Gecko/20060910 SeaMonkey/1.0.5 , under Win 98 SE
2.Mail download attempted, Windows reported an Illegal Operation attempted, clearing this message exited the Seamonkey browser.
3.Sometimes the same happens (rarely) when using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.13) Gecko/20060414 , instead.
SEAMONKEY caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7a125.

Are you getting a Talkback window popping up after the crash? If so, supplying a Talkback ID would help debug this.
Is the mail actually getting downloaded? (That is, after you restart, is the mail in the box?) If the download is getting stuck because of a particular message, you might be able to work around the problem by using a different client to clear the mail queue.

The crashes no longer occour after AVG antivirus was deleted and the next, latest
version 7.1.408, was installed. Regards Ron Barnett
