DS extension won't show up at all during download

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install the DS extension
2.Donwload some stuff
3.

Actual Results:  
Not working at all, blocking the default download manager to show up.

Expected Results:  
DS to take control of download

E-mailed the extension author but haven't received a reply yet.

This extension has problem with maxversion too.

<em:minVersion>1.4.0</em:minVersion>
<em:maxVersion>2.0</em:maxVersion>

Correct maxversion is 2.0.0.*.
