Running WNXP-PRO.

Issue #1: Today Mozilla automatically updated the browser. Upon completetion, all existing bookmarks were deleted. Upon re-creating bookmark, window "freezes" and does not complete the task and requires closing window. 

Issue #2: When attempting to search using the new brower, the search does not run nor does it show any identifying engine.  I have entered infomation directly to the right of the magnifying glass, pressed "enter" and did not receive results. 
Also, was not able to add another search engine to the list as suggested in your ad on features.  

Have rebooted to see if this "fixes" the issues and it has not.
