OpenID support would be extremely useful and would finally enable the "single sign-on" dream every web user and developer has had since they first used or developed an authenticated website.
Any update to the going ons of this bug? I'd like to see OpenID support built into Mozilla. It seems this bug really is dead though, which would be a shame to have to wait until the other browsers implement this first, instead of Mozilla being a leader.

If you're interested I'll be posting about my progress at http://mozcoz.blogspot.com.
