See upcoming testcase, I get a black box at the right of the page, where I shouldn't see that.
This also is happening on branch builds.

My guess is, this will be fixed by a fix for bug 352093.
Attached file testcase
I don't see this in branch builds:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061015 SeaMonkey/1.1b
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061016 BonEcho/2.0
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8pre) Gecko/20061016 Firefox/1.5.0.8pre

When in Firefox I load 2 tabs:
http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0/whatsnew/
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=242491

Switching from the first tab to the testcase in the second tab doesn't clear the the area used by the iframe. Also minimizing and restoring the browser just shows what was seen on the screen while beeing minimized, say Windows Explorer or a Seamonkey window.
Both Firefoxes behave identical, Seamonkey doesn't show the bug.
I am unable to reproduce this on a recent trunk build; I see no black box, just the text "You should not see a black box on the right of this page".

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2007121305 Minefield/3.0b3pre ID:2007121305
WFM too: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2007121605 Minefield/3.0b3pre

Martijn, can you verify?
Yes, seems fixed somehow.
