User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Installed Lightning 0.3 (build 2006100618) on Thunderbird version 1.5.0.7 (20060909). After the install, I was not able to open mail messages in their own window. This applied to double-clicking the message header in the list, or right-clicking and selecting "Open Message in New Window". Removing the extension resolved the problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Lightning 0.3 (build 2006100618) on Thunderbird version 1.5.0.7 (20060909) 2.Start Thunderbird 3.Right click on a message title and select "Open Message in New Window" Nothing opens. Actual Results: Nothing opens. The only way to see messages is in the message pain in the Thunderbird main window Expected Results: The message should open in it's own window. I never use the main window message pane. Removing the extension resolved the problem.
Uninstall/disable the old Mozilla Calendar extension as advised in the Release Notes and in Bug 357354 Comment #1 to solve this issue.
Marking this as a duplicate of 357354 since it does appear to be caused by that issue (not uninstalling the calendar extension).
