User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Hi, it seems some people with a Gnome-only mindset managed to get the backspace key behavior changed again to something completely unexpected (page-up). Seems like this is supposed to be standard in Gnome, but please remember, that Firefox is not only used under Gnome, but other window-managers too. It is, after all, not a Gnome application, but a GTK application. I think the best solution for this would be an about:config option to decide the effect. That could both please the zealots and help the normal people stay sane. Thank for your consideration of this problem, Nicholas PS: Should I get all the other FF linux users to complain too? Would that help fix the problem faster? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to site 1 2. Go to site 2 3. Try to use backspace to go back 4. Stare in wonder...
Cool, thanks. Ok, and now for that manual...
