This has happened to me on two different machines....I try to update to firefox 2.0 using firefox 1.5, and when it starts all of my bookmarks are lost, it doesn't redirect to the "you have updated" page, and tabs don't close when you click the x. When I use internet explorer to update, everything works perfectly...what's up with that? also, the spell checker doesn't recognize firefox?!?!?!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open firefox 1.5 (should have bookmarks)
2.go to getfirefox.com
3.download and run the setup file
4.click finish to start firefox...bookmarks are gone, and tabs don't close...
5.open MS Internet Explorer
6.go to getfirefox.com
7.download and run the setup file
8.now firefox works:)
