One day Firefox returned to it's default state (toolbars, etc).
When I now disable a toolbar and restart, the toolbar is enabled again.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Disable toolbar.
2. Restart.
3.
Actual Results:
Toolbar is enabled again.
Expected Results:
Toolbar should be disabled.
Deleting the profile works around the issue.

Probably a dupe of 319196 or provide more details.
Try deleting the file localstore.rdf in your profile:
