I downloaded the new version of mozilla firefox today, I am so angry about it I am shaking. I wish I had never done it. First of all, ALL my bookmarks are gone. Months of research is now down the toilet. I am SO angry about that. Secondly when logging onto myspace.com, it refuses to open a link in a tab, it opens it in a new window, then opens two blank tabs which I can't close. When I manually ask a link to open in a new tab, it;s blank and I can't close it at all. I am boiling with anger over this. I wish I had never downloaded the new version. I want the old version back, I never had a problem with it. I want to know if there is anyway I can get my bookmarks back. And if there is anyway of getting the old version of firefox back. If there isn't I think I will just uninstall it and go back to IE.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Chill out and have a read of http://kb.mozillazine.org/Lost_bookmarks ;)
Don't worry, your bookmarks aren't gone - the installer left behind some incompatible binary components which are fouling things up (soon to be resolved in bug 357922).
To remedy this, you can uninstall Firefox via the control panel and remove the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder (bookmarks and settings are in %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles so they'll remain intact) and then reinstall Firefox and everything should be back to normal.
Terribly sorry for any inconvenience this issue has caused you and if the above does not solve the problem (or if you need any assistance at all), you may wish to try one of the support options listed here: http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/#community
