User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 The traditional spelling of the word is "doughnut", although the spelling adopted by Dunkin' Donuts has been gaining in popularity. Some people might say that "donut" should be flagged; I insist only that "doughnut" ought to be recognized. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Enter the words "donut" and "doughnut" in a form. Actual Results: The word "doughnut" was not recognized. Expected Results: The word "doughnut" should not be flagged. I'm aware of "Add to dictionary" and feel this is an actual omission, rather than a matter of choice.

If this is not a bug in the spellchecker code, then you should probably file this bug to the people who actually maintain the dictionary...
And that would be ...
This is a WFM as I am using the en-GB-oed dictionary. Suggest you use this version instead.
