On the German homepage of Amazon the search text field (tab "home", right next to the combobox "Suche") is not high enough, so that the entered text is not readable at all.
I found out that this bug does not occur if I restrict the fonts by unselecting the Checkbox in the Mozilla Menu "Extras/Einstellungen/Schriftarten & Farben/Erweitert/Seiten das Verwenden von eigenen statt der oben gewählten erlauben"
(maybe translated by "Extras/Settings/Fonts & Colors/Extended/Allow pages to use own fonts instead of above selected ones").
This bug does not occur with "MS-InternetExplorer6" or internal browser of AOL.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter URL "http://www.amazon.de/"
2. try to enter text in text field (stays invisible)
Actual Results:
The text field's height next to "Suche" is smaller than the height of the combobox. It appears centered in height to the combobox.
The entered text stays invisible.
Expected Results:
The text field's height next to "Suche" should be equal to the height of the combobox (MS-IE6).
The entered text should be visible.
Restricting fonts in Mozilla Menu
"Extras/Settings/Fonts & Colors/Extended/Allow pages to use own fonts instead of above selected ones" to default ("Serif"/"Times New Roman"/"Arial"/"Courier New") "solves" the problem.
