Switching our SVG code over to thebes (bug 354866) is introducing a hard dependency on cairo gfx. This primarily affects the mac builds, as cairo gfx is now the default configuration for linux and win32.

Looking over the tinderboxes, the following would need --disable-svg added to their configuration:

  Seamonkey: bm-xserve03
  Firefox: prometheus-vm xserve06
  Firefox-Cairo: gais-vm
  Camino: boxset, pawn, maya
Presumably this has been done or these trees would be burning?
There's only one non-cairo tinderbox left, that's Sunbird Linux (due to old pango, says the comment):
http://mxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/search?string=--enable-default-toolkit&find=%2Ftools%2Ftinderbox-configs%2F&findi=&filter=&tree=seamonkey

And that has --disable-svg:
