Details

Penelope need the ability to change the orientation (Horizontal, Vertical) and the Style (large buttons, small buttons, text only, etc.) of the toolbar.

Both Eudora and Thunderbird (Penelope) already allow you not to show the toolbar at all....

Go to view -> toolbars and unselect mail toolbar
Priority: -- → P5
Target Milestone: --- → Future
Version: 0.1 → Trunk
However, setting this is not persistent.  If you turn if off and then open a message or mailbox then the toolbar is back.  The same for other view options.  These settings should apply to all operations and be sticky.
In my view this feature would be nice but not urgent. I could live well with the standard TB toolbar if only the importers and Eudora's core functionalities (as discussed in the other bug records) would work.
