User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Numeric access keys no longer work, example "alt" + "shift" + number does not produce any result associated with the access key. Alpha accesskeys continue to work. I have detailed a work around in additional information but it is not ideal (revert to old Firefox 1.5 behaviour) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a website with numeric accesskeys (most UK Governement websites e.g. http://csa.gov.uk/new/) 2. Try to use the numeric access key "alt" + "shift" + numeric accesskey e.g. 4 3. Confirm other access keys work "alt" + "shift" + alpha accesskey e.g. w Actual Results: No page change occurs. Expected Results: Page should change to the one indicated by the access key There is a workaround in that you can set it back to the behaviour in Firefox 1.5 (and previous) whereby you set "ui.key.generalAccessKey" using about:config in the address bar to 18 (from its default value of "-1") this means however that you have to use "alt" + accesskey, which has its own limitations by way of potential conflicts with Firefox menus hence (I guess) the teams decision to use "alt" + "shift". This occurs in a default install of Firefox 2
