Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; FDM; InfoPath.2)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0

After Firefox 2 has beend closed it doesn't always open again. I have found that it can be overcome by going into task manger and closing all processes that show firefox. I guess that it isn't closing properly which is causing probems when you try to re-open it.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Just surf the web
2.close firefox using x top right of the window
3.Try to re-open firefox

Actual Results:
The cursor goes to the busy timer for a few seconds and then returns to the normal cursor.

Expected Results:
Firefox to open.

It doesn't seem as stable as the previous version. I have found that it just hangs on several occassions failing to load the web pages. I have checked my system for viruses and spyware using nod32, windows defender, spydoctor and search and destroy and use zone alarm as the firewall.

I hope this helps but please feel free to contact me if you require any further information.

Keep up the good work.
There are more possibilities (incompatible extensions for instance) but there's a very big chance that this is a dupe of bug 355399.
