Firefox 2, Mac OS X 10.4.8: Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the Bookmarks Manager 2. Click the Search textfield 3. Try using any of the toolbar buttons ("New bookmark", "New folder", "New separator") Result: None of them work! It seems that if the focus is not in the folder tree or the bookmarks tree, they simply do nothing. Expected result: If they're enabled, they should obviously work.
