Details

User-Agent: Opera/9.02 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en)
Build Identifier:

I cannot get the browser to load any of the home pages I have. It locks up on loading half a page. No matter what link I press on the home website it opens a new window, but does not load anything. None of the drop down menus on the top of the browser work. The loading progress bar at the bottom right never gets filled. The vertical slider on the right side is non-responsive. Clicking on the tabs gives me the name of the webpage at the top, on the blue frame, but does not switch tabs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on Firefox to load the browser
2.Wait for an endless loading time that never finishes.
3.Get frustrated and close the application.

Actual Results:
The same thing happens every time. This came about as a result of the automatic installation of the latest Firefox version. Please tell me how I can transfer any History, saved passwords, homepages, and bookmards automatically over to Opera.

Expected Results:
The software should have atleast allowed me to open up the browser in Safe Mode. Safe Mode does not work. It performs equally dissappointingly as loading the normal version.

I'm very frustrated and dissapointed to see that all of my bookmarks and saved homepages, passwords, etc. will be lost! If this is the future of the future web browser I will have to switch to something that is at the very least stable!
