User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 I want to use history and not always clear it when I exit. I also sometimes want to clear the history. Unfortunately to do this, because there is no button to clear the history, to clear history one apparently needs to open options, select privacy, select settings, click box to clear history when clearing private data, then select ok and exit out of options, then select tools and clear private data. Then repeat the entire process to turn history back on. Very clumsy. Reproducible: Always
Tools -> Clear Private Data -> history This isn't a bug so much as a feature suggestion I see no real reason why a vast majority of web users need such a button. And I would hazard to guess that you could find an extension that would meet these needs at addons.mozilla.org. If you feel this is really necessary you can file an RFE for such a button.
