The CSS2 specs say that boxes may have negative stacking levels <http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/visuren.html#q30>. IE4+/Win, Safari, Opera (at least 5+), Konqueror 3, IE5.x/Mac, and iCab 3 seem to support negative values for the z-index property. So it would be very useful if Mozilla could follow suit.
