User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061113 Minefield/3.0a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061113 Minefield/3.0a1 When attempting to save a file that does not exist, the download manager states "starting" and then "done", with the options to open or remove. If you attempt to actually open the file it will say that it cannot be found, "perhaps it has been moved, renamed or deleted". This has occured in the current (Minefield) browser downloaded as latest build, the Bon Echo 2.0 alfa and the Firefox 1.5.0.7. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right click on file link to a fake / non-existent file on the internet. 2. "save link as" any file name at any location 3. Press "open" in the download manager Actual Results: Alert box with the following text [file] does not exist. It may have been renamed, moved, or deleted since it was downloaded. Expected Results: Warned already in the download manager that the file link is broken, instead of claiming that the download is done.
Still valid Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a8pre) Gecko/2007080714 Minefield/3.0a8pre related to Core Bug 237623?
