Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8
In most OS X applications, invoking the key sequence Command-period (Command-.) will issue a Cancel command when a sheet or dialog is displayed. (E.g.: MS Word, "Save As..." command; TextEdit, same; Firefox Mac, "Open File..." command, etc.) Camino does not do this; to issue this command from the keyboard, the user must press Esc instead.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load any web page
2. Issue the "Add Bookmark" command or any other that brings up a dialog or sheet with a Cancel button
3. Depress Command-period (Command-.)
Actual Results:
Nothing happens; the OS issues a system beep.
Expected Results:
The Cancel button briefly illuminates and the dialog or sheet disappears.
This is a UI issue; the Accessibility category seemed closest but I'm not sure if that's a correct assessment.
