 (newline) sequences - not correctly displayed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Get || pipe characters instead of newlines

For the record, part of the issue reported here (the funny characters that show up instead of newlines) should have been fixed in Firefox 2 (by my patch in bug 67127 comment 214).
