To really put the keyword system for bookmarks to use, a keywords field would be nice when adding a bookmark (below the "Name" filed perhaps). Otherwise, users have to add a bookmark and then delve into the bookmark manager, show info on the bookmark, add keywords, close the panel, close the managager. Very complicated, don't you think.

If this somehow seems bloated, maybe it could be turned on through a hidden pref?

I've thought about whether we should expose this (and possibly even description and url?) in the "Add bookmark" dialog before.  As cl says, it's closely tied to the other bug. Perhaps only when in expando mode?

Yes, sounds like a very good idea, as long as expanded/unexpanded is sticky.

I'm not finding any WONTFIXes that sound similar.

Given that no one has been able to come up with a good argument against this and we have several people in favour of doing this as part of the Add Bookmark overhaul, I'm confirming this bug.

This bug has been buried in the graveyard and has not been updated in over 5 years. It is probably safe to assume that it will never be fixed, so resolving as WONTFIX.
