STR:
1. Go to a page
2. Cmd-P
3. Press the "Save as PDF…" button and enter a filename and destination and press return
4. Examine the file in the location
Expected: A PDF file with the contents of your print job and no physical printing
Actual: a 0-byte PDF file and an unwanted physical print job

Isn't this a dupe of bug 362135 ?
On a related note, if the 'default' printer is not turned on, no .pdf is ever produced (even a 0 byte one).

Sounds like it, more or less. It just wasn't lurking in Widget:Cocoa where Josh told me the cocoa printing bugs were living ;)
