Open http://developer.mozilla.org/es/docs/Portada and enter "test" in the search box in the top right corner of the page. The loaded page has results from the english wiki, e.g.: http://developer.mozilla.org/es/docs/Especial:Nutch?language=en&start=0&hitsPerPage=10&query=test&fulltext=Search

It's actually depending on the language set in your user preference panel right now. This is supposed to be changed to the content language, already have a fix for it just haven't gotten it pushed. I'll move that ahead, and leave this open until that's applied.
