36255 - Shouldn't display error when selecting UW IMAP "folder-only" folders

This is a split-off from bug #27396.

There's still one case, where an error is displayed:

Yes, there're no errors displayed anymore after a click an a folder-only folder,
*if it is not listed in the .mailboxlist file of the server*. Thanks!

However, if the folder is listed in the file (with or without ending slash), the
folder is still displayed as a normal folder and gives an error after clicking
on it. REOPENing.

IIRC, 4.x for Windows creates such entries (with ending slash), when a new
folder-only folder is created (the unix version doesn't support creating them at
all :-( ).

Note, that 4.x shows the same bug. Maybe this is a server restriction and 
there's no way for us to find out, but I don't know.

Outlook Express even *requires* these entries (not sure about the slash) for the
folder to be displayed.

When I verified on bug#27396, I didn't see the error displayed on the folder 
with slash folder....but I logged bug #36248 problem. Did I miss something? I am 
not quite sure about this bug. Ben, can you provide more detail? Thanks.

Ben, does this bug mention same problem as bug#36397? Or this bug is different 
issue?

Karen, no, the slash I mention is at the very end of the entry, e.g. "abc/" or
"abc/def/".

(Examples for the other type I mention are folder-only folder, i.e. directories,
which are listed as just "abc" or "abc/def". Not sure, if that is correct, i.e.
if such entires make the .mailboxfile invalid. I don't think, I've seen such
entries been created by an app, but not sure.)

Note, that I /sometimes/ see those folders greyed out.

bug#29926 is about folder *names* ending in e.g. "/". This bug is about
behaviour, if the folder *entries* on the server exist at all and end in "/"
(which is completely valid).

I did get the error if I edit (add folders) directly from the .mailboxlist

Hmm...interesting, by using Win98 remotely testing from home I found this error 
display again....sounds like there are different results between office(WinNT) & 
home(Win98), don't know this is platforms' problem or across firewall problem?

Office (WinNT): No problem when selecting folder-only folder, no error display..
Home (Win98): Error display when selecting folder-only folder.....

Even Ben mentioned this bug is different as bug#29926, I am still thinking this 
is related bug29926 regarding to "/" performed differently for different 
platforms since folder-only folder also involve "/" on the server & client....
I still need to do more investigation!! But, Ben, can I know which platform did 
you use when you logged this bug?

Karen, I use Linux nearly exclusively. As for pp, do you useu the same profile

at home and at work, i.e. do you access a network drive at Netscape from home,

where your profile lies? If not, this might be the reason: As I reported

privately, I got different result for different profiles. (I even got different

result for the same folder type and the same profile.)

I get an empty thread pane and the normal mouse pointer (Mozilla 0.6 showed the
Wait mouse pointer) after clicking on a folder-ony folder, which has either no
entry at all or an entry eith a trailing slash in .mailboxlist.
If the folder is listed without a trailing slash, I still get the error, but I
guess, this is an invalid entry, which confuses the server. So, this is OK.
