If the text is garbage, the text rendering performance is very slow.
On the Windows, very many fonts don't have the glyph for 0xFFFD.
I think that if we can fix this issue, we will win for this issue.
Note that don't change the OS field. We should try to fix on each platforms.

This is a small testcase, which more or less came from bug 341500.
It select 100 times the text in the input with an interval of 20ms.
With a current trunk build, I get a result of 6000ms.
With a current branch build, I get a result of 2766ms.
