36307 - DDE and Automation Protocols

The old version of netspace/mozzila, has a way to communicate with DDE.
the 2 main function i was using were :
Initialize(LPCTSTR pProtocol, LPCTSTR pUrl) 
Open(LPCTSTR pUrl) 
Inorder to use those function a DLL should have been registred under 
the "Automation Protocols" in the registry.
For some reason, i cannot understand what happend to this in this new version - 
is it not supported anymore ? - And where can I find information about this ?

You're basically asking for a DDE implementation; so this is a dupe.
