the toolbar takes up space on the browser and i want it permanently removed, but every time i go to view>toolbars and unclick the bookmarks toolbar, it hides it only as long as that firefox session is open. after closing firefox, the toolbar is always back on reopening. (the same happens if i hide it by right-clicking empty space on the address bar and unclick the bookmarks toolbar). a friend who has a mac does not have this problem, he says when he hides the toolbar it never comes back unless he chooses to unhide it.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.hide bookmarks toolbar
2.exit firefox
3.reopen firefox, toolbar is back
Actual Results:
toolbar returns every time i open firefox, i have to hide it every single session.
Expected Results:
kept it hidden until i select to have it showing.
