Details

User-Agent: Opera/9.02 (Windows NT 5.2; U; en) Build Identifier: Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 After clicking on a control in the Print Preview toolbar, pressing F5 (refresh) will "break" the print preview. The print preview will switch from "print" to "screen"-media display (with the screen media CSS loaded) and the "Close" and other buttons on the print preview toolbar will be broken. Sometimes switching the landscape/portrait setting can fix it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open a new browser window so that you do not lose your browsing session. 1. Go to http://example.com, or any other website. 2. File --> Print Preview 3. Perform one of the following actions: * Press the [Tab] key to set focus to the "Print..." button. * Press the mouse button down over the "Print...", "Page Setup...", or "Close" buttons, and release the mouse button when you have moved the cursor off of one of these buttons. * Click the "Page:" or "Scale:" label. * Click the "|<", "<", ">", or ">|" toolbar button. * Click on the toolbar textbox to the right of "Page:". * Click on the dropdown select box for "Scale:", then click it again to dismiss the dropdown menu. 4. Press [F5]. (You may be able to "fix" the broken chrome by changing the "Portrait"/"Landscape" option. This usually works for me). Actual Results: Page is reloaded and not displayed in the print-preview format. Toolbar buttons stop working (except for Portrait/Landscape). Expected Results: F5 should be ignored or should properly refresh the print preview. None of the "Actual Results" above should occur.
