'bookmark this page' dialog box opens but will not save bookmarks properly; when 'ok' is selected, the folder line goes blank, the dialog box stays open, and a blank line (occasionally with the right favicon) is insterted into the bookmarks menu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select 'bookmark this page'

2. click 'ok', or select folder and click 'ok'

3. note presence of strange blank line in bookmarks drop-down menu

Actual Results:  
it happened as before

Expected Results:  
a bookmark and correspondent description should have been written to the bookmarks drop-down menu
